Project Schedule#
Use Project Schedule to review results across the project and identify rooms requiring more detailed review.
Use search to locate rooms quickly and hide rooms that are not relevant to the current review.
The summary cards show analysed rooms, rooms within target or needing review, rooms not evaluated, and the overall material-readiness status.
Rooms And Reverberation#
The room schedule can include:
- Room number.
- Room name.
- Source model, including whether the room comes from the host or a linked model.
- Occupancy type.
- Recommended reverberation time.
- Theoretical reverberation time.
- NRC 1 equivalent absorption area required when the theoretical result exceeds the recommendation.
- Material assignment status.
Select a room row to review more detail, including:
- Source model.
- Predicted reverberation time and its status.
- STI potential.
- Material readiness.
- Last analysis information.
- Room comments.
- Exposed design materials.
Saved analysis results can remain visible when the source room or linked model is temporarily unavailable. In that situation, model-based actions may be unavailable until the source is loaded again.
Available room actions can include:
- Open Room Analysis.
- Show the room in the Revit model.
The inspector shows STI potential but not critical distance. Open Room Analysis or include the relevant report data when critical-distance results are required.
Materials#
Open the Materials area of Project Schedule to review:
- Acoustic treatments used in the project.
- Exposed finish materials.
- Associated exposed areas.
Use the Treatments filter to focus on acoustic treatments, or All Exposed to include the complete exposed-material schedule. Search and filtering can help locate a material by its name, identifier, category, role, or surface type.
Generic, archived, and unresolved materials remain visible so that incomplete material information is not hidden. Material records can store cost information, but it is not currently integrated into Project Schedule or an in-product cost calculation. The scheduled quantities can support a separate external cost estimate.
Reverberation time#
Project Schedule compares the predicted room result with the selected occupancy target. Room Analysis shows the frequency-band detail and treated-versus-untreated comparison.
STI potential#
A reverberation-based screening estimate of potential speech clarity under ideal background-noise assumptions. It is not an on-site STI measurement or a compliance-grade result.
Critical distance#
A predictive estimate of where direct and reverberant sound are equal. Review treated and untreated values in Room Analysis and choose the appropriate directivity factor for the displayed estimate.
Materials and costs#
Project Schedule gives users rich information about acoustic treatments and exposed finishes, including areas, rooms, and surface counts. These quantities can be used to calculate project acoustic material costs.
