Acouso-ROOM Main Window#

Open Acouso-ROOM from the Revit ribbon to prepare the project and run acoustic analysis.

The main setup areas are:

• Project Standards.
• Surface Materials.
• Settings.

The main window also provides:

• Project Schedule.
• Import/Export.
• Analysis override reset tools.

The Project Standards editor can be opened directly from the Acouso ribbon. It can also be opened from the Acouso-ROOM main window by clicking Edit beside the standard dropdown in Project Standards.

Window walkthrough#

Use it to prepare the project, run analysis, and review project-wide results.

1. Open Acouso-ROOM from the Revit ribbon.
2. In Project Standards, select the standard and assign room occupancies.
3. In Surface Materials, map construction types and resolve rows that need attention.
4. In Settings, confirm model scope, calculation method, display units, and room boundary handling.
5. Click Run Acoustic Analysis.
6. Open Project Schedule to review rooms, material readiness, and exposed materials; use search and room hiding to focus the schedule.
7. Use Import/Export for project packages, full backups, restores, and report packages.
