Project-wide analysis#
Prepare the project and produce a coordinated schedule of room results.
- Verify access in User Hub.
- Select the standard and assign occupancies.
- Review Surface Materials and resolve blockers.
- Confirm Settings and linked-model scope.
- Run Acoustic Analysis.
- Review Project Schedule and open rooms that need further work.
Room refinement#
Test finishes and treatments for one room.
- Open Room Analysis from the ribbon or Project Schedule.
- Review the baseline composition and untreated result.
- Add or edit a Finish or Treatment.
- Set treatment area, percentage, and distribution where required.
- Compare the updated and untreated results.
Reflection review#
Visualise reflections from a selected model surface.
- Open Ray Analysis and select Reflection Analysis.
- Configure ray settings, model scope, and category filters.
- Run the analysis and click the source surface in Revit.
- Review the model rays and Reflection Schedule.
Source-to-Receiver analysis#
Review receiver-specific ray results from a configured source.
- Open Source-to-Receiver Analysis.
- Place and configure the source.
- Place one or more receivers.
- Configure the ray settings and save a State if required.
- Run the analysis and review Reflection Schedule and Receiver Analysis.
Excel material import#
Add several reviewed materials using the current template.
- In Material Library, click Import Materials and save the Excel template.
- Preserve the headers and complete the Materials sheet.
- Choose Metric or Imperial for the import.
- Select the workbook and review New, Warning, Exact match, Possible duplicate, and Error rows.
- Select the materials to keep and click Import Selected.
Project transfer#
Move project data using an .acousoroom package.
- Use Export in Acouso-ROOM → Import/Export to create the project package.
- In the receiving project, use Import and choose the package.
- Review any linked-room remapping request.
- Recheck standards, occupancies, materials, mappings, and Project Schedule.
Full backup and restore#
Protect or intentionally recover the wider local workspace.
- Use Full Backup and select a safe destination.
- Use Restore Backup only with a full backup package.
- Review the confirmation because a full restore can affect project data and the local material and standards libraries.
- Use Import, rather than Restore Backup, for a normal project package.
Report export#
Create selected CSV schedules in a single report package.
- Run analysis so the required room results are available.
- Open Import/Export and click Export Report.
- Select the rooms and include Room schedule, Acoustic properties summary, and/or Exposed materials.
- Choose the destination and complete the export.
- Open the resulting ZIP package to access the selected CSV files.
