What does Acouso-ROOM do?
Acouso-ROOM provides room reverberation analysis, acoustic material customisation and reflection visualisation within your Revit model. It helps you review room-acoustic performance as part of your design workflow.
How is Acouso-PLAN different from Acouso-ROOM?
Acouso-ROOM is available now for room-acoustic analysis inside Revit. Acouso-PLAN is a separate, invitation-only early-access product that uses building-model information to automate repetitive acoustic markup preparation. Users review and refine the markups for design coordination. They serve different workflows, rather than being basic and advanced tiers of the same product.
Do I need to rebuild or export my Revit model to use Acouso-ROOM?
No. Acouso-ROOM is designed to work within your existing Revit workflow without rebuilding or exporting the model to a separate analysis tool.
Which versions of Revit does Acouso-ROOM support?
Acouso-ROOM is compatible with Revit 2023 through 2027.
What happens after the 14-day Acouso-ROOM trial?
Current options are to use the limited Acouso-ROOM Free level, purchase an Acouso-ROOM licence, or contact us if you need more time to evaluate it on a live project. Free access and features may change, and you do not need to install a separate Free version.
Can I configure Acouso for different acoustic standards?
Yes. Acouso-ROOM lets you configure project acoustic criteria with reference to standards such as AS/NZS 2107 and BB93, or to a project-specific brief. Results depend on the criteria and model inputs you set; the software does not certify compliance.
How is my Revit model data handled?
Acouso-ROOM uses cloud processing for acoustic analysis. Building-model information and acoustic-analysis inputs may be transmitted, depending on the functionality used. Read our Privacy Policy for details about processing and storage.
