Results retain their saved calculation context. Interpret each quantity using its own evidence: availability of one metric does not establish another. An unavailable value must remain distinct from zero.
Statistical reverberation and receiver decay#
Room Analysis estimates reverberation from room quantities and assigned absorption. Acoustic Ray Analysis derives EDT, T20 and T30 from the predicted sound-energy decay at each listening position. These outputs describe related acoustic behaviour using different assumptions, so their values need not match.
Additional ray-analysis outputs#
The additional outputs below are available in supported early-access builds, where the result contains the required data.
| Output | Meaning | Where to read more |
|---|---|---|
| Sound strength, G (dB) | Received sound strength relative to a 10 m free-field reference for an eligible omnidirectional source | Sound levels |
| Direct-to-reverberant ratio, DRR (dB) | Balance between direct and reflected energy at a listening position | Clarity and definition |
| C50 and C80 by frequency (dB) | Octave-band clarity and comparisons between listening positions | Clarity and definition |
| Sound-level coverage (dB) | Difference between the highest and lowest eligible levels across listening positions | Sound levels |
| Low-frequency decay balance (ratio) | Comparison of low- and mid-frequency decay times using one identified decay method | Reverberation and decay |
| Direct-sound status | Whether direct sound is recorded or the result is unavailable | Clarity and definition |
