Room Analysis
Diagnose and improve one room at a time.
Steps
- 1.Click Room Analysis.
- 2.Select a room in the Revit model, or open one from a Project Schedule row.
- 3.Use the left panel for compliance, geometry, room height, occupancy, and RT60 review.
- 4.Use Apply beside Room Height to override height, or Default to revert.
- 5.Use the occupancy dropdown to set a room-level override, or Use Default to revert.
- 6.Use the center room diagram and Room Comments to inspect and annotate surfaces.
- 7.Use the surface table and Add Material to change finish or treatment selections.
Results
Detailed room boundary and surface context. Updated reverberation results after material, height, or occupancy changes. Visual feedback when room-level overrides are active.
Ray Analysis
Visualise reflection paths and identify highly impacted surfaces.
Steps
- 1.Click Ray Analysis.
- 2.In Settings, define Number of Rays, Cone Spread Angle, Reflections, Max Total Path Length, and Ray Offset.
- 3.Click Run Reflection Analysis and select a model surface.
- 4.Review the ray visualisation and reflection outcomes in the schedule panel.

Common Workflows
Project-Wide Analysis
- 1.Verify your licence in User Hub.
- 2.Set room occupancies in Acouso-ROOM → Project Standards.
- 3.Click Run Acoustic Analysis.
- 4.Review Project Schedule and identify rooms needing refinement.
Room Refinement
- 1.Open Room Analysis and select a room.
- 2.Review current RT60 and surface assignments.
- 3.Adjust occupancy or room height where the project defaults need a room-specific override.
- 4.Adjust finish materials or add treatment.
- 5.Re-check updated RT60 and compliance state.
Reflection Review
- 1.Open Ray Analysis.
- 2.Tune settings based on project scale and required detail.
